AMC vs Non AMC SIP : Zerodha Which is better?
AMC SIP is set up directly with the Asset Management Company (AMC) using the Broker as the interface.
AMC SIP is NOT Flexible.
An AMC SIP cannot be modified, paused, or stepped up since the AMC SIP is not created internally in Broker’s system. AMC SIPs can be deleted or cancelled only 2 days prior to the SIP's next installment date.
Advantages that Non-AMC SIP has over AMC SIP is you get additional options in the Broker console to modify & pause SIP.
Modify will have options to change SIP date, amount, etc.
