Ring Spotlight Cam Mount - Control External Lights Feature is Now Working!
Today, I'll give you a quick update about the Ring Spotlight Camera the Mount version and it is about the external light control or the auxiliary light control.
When, I got my Spotlight Cam mount more than a year ago, I found a neat feature that is only applicable to the mount version... that is that the "red" wire can be used to control other lights. I know then, that Ring released a video on how to do it... but they eventually deleted it when that feature is actually not working. I did call them a couple of times and they sent me a replacement camera but I told them that is was not the hardware but a firmware issue. I did release a video that this feature of the spotlight cam mount is not working.
