We all know that Anne Boleyn was executed with the sword. But this was not the tradition in the country of England. Whilst more famous used in Europe the axe was the traditional tool of execution. Though the flames were also consigned to women for crimes. Yet how is it that when all the men accused alongside her were put to death with the axe, Anne was given the sword.
