In this video, I'm going to discuss the personal challenge of making friends in adulthood, particularly your 30s and 40s (and particularly if you're a mom living in a new suburb or town).
There are three main reasons making friends is so hard (and why emotional loneliness is actually so rampant):
1. Your location
2. Having small kids
3. Astrological influences during midlife (aka the midlife crisis is real)
I'll share some of my own experiences (and be really candid and vulnerable) about feeling lonely and the importance of building a supportive community.
I talk about exactly how and why I created my private women's membership group, Diana, as a response to these challenges, and the best tips I've gotten on reframing friendship expectations and finding meaningful connections.
