Transcript: Per InsideEVs, IM Motors has rolled out a refreshed version of its LS6 coupe crossover in China, now offering extended-range EV variants alongside the all-electric ones. These new versions are turning heads for their impressive range at surprisingly low prices. The LS6 Extended-Range models start at just under $30,000 in China, with the larger battery version priced around $33,400.
You’ve got two battery options: a 52 kWh pack that delivers about 230 miles on electricity alone, or a 66 kWh pack that gets around 280 miles—both paired with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that works solely as a generator. Full range with gas and electric combines for up to 933 miles.
The LS6 EREV is powered by a 308 horsepower electric motor, takes 6.4 seconds to hit 62 mph, and comes with fast-charging tech from CATL that can add 180 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
For those who prefer pure electric, the base battery EV version starts around $29,200. And there’s also a high-performance dual-motor all-wheel-drive version with 671 horsepower, a 103 kWh battery, and up to 466 miles of claimed range.
Over 10,000 LS6 units were pre-ordered in just 30 minutes, signaling strong demand as Chinese buyers look for high-range options with competitive pricing.
