Pneumonia is one of the top five causes of death in Malaysia. It is a type of lung infection in which the air sacs in the lungs are filled with bacteria.
Anyone can develop pneumonia. People with weaker immune systems such as the elderly and young children, are more vulnerable to pneumonia. This same group of people are also at an increased risk of developing complications from pneumonia.
