HOW TO LOOP EFFECT IN AFTER EFFECT
Create Your Animation:
First, create the animation or composition that you want to loop. This could be a motion graphic, a logo animation, or any other visual element.
Extend the Timeline:
To create a loop, you'll need to extend the duration of your composition. The duration should be a multiple of the loop cycle to ensure smooth looping. For example, if your animation is 5 seconds long and you want a 2-second loop, extend the composition to 10 seconds.
Identify Loop Points:
Determine where the animation can seamlessly loop. Look for a point in your animation where the starting and ending frames match up perfectly, so the transition between the last frame and the first frame is smooth.
Time Remapping:
Select your composition in the timeline and press the "U" key twice to reveal the keyframes. Find the time where you want the loop to start and end, and add keyframes at those points.
Loop Expression:
Right-click on the Time Remap property and select "Toggle Hold Keyframes." Then, alt-click (or right-click) on the stopwatch icon next to the Time Remap property. This will open an expression field. Enter the following expression:

This expression tells After Effects to loop the animation using the "cycle" loop type.
Adjust Keyframes (Optional):
You might need to adjust the initial and final keyframes to fine-tune the loop. Make sure the animation flows seamlessly from the last frame to the first frame.
Preview and Adjust:
Preview the animation to see how the loop looks. If there are any visible jumps or glitches, you might need to further adjust the keyframes or extend the composition duration.
Render and Export:
Once you're satisfied with the loop, render and export your composition as needed. You can choose the appropriate format and settings based on your requirements.
Remember, creating a perfect loop might require some trial and error, especially when working with complex animations. Additionally, some effects or animations might not loop seamlessly due to their nature. In those cases, you might need to consider alternative techniques or adjust your design.
