This tutorial shows how to solve the problem of deflickering edited footage. Where the deflicker needs to happen across edits, cuts, abrupt camera changes, and the like. Anywhere there's a significant change of scene from one frame to the next.
We show it in Premiere, but the technique works the same in other applications. Just replacing ‘Nesting’ with whatever your host application does (pre-composing (AE), making a compound clip (FCP), etc).
