I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and I work from home. In my original home office setup I worked at a lovely desk, but sitting with my feet on the floor for hours at a time drained me at an alarming rate and caused me to flare. I barely had enough spoons to work, let alone take care of myself or live my life. After some radical acceptance of my body's limitations and the accommodations I need to thrive, I now have a productive workspace that allows me to thrive.
