In this video I'm doing an anonymous q&a with an INTJ (one oft followers). This the the 1st part of a multiple part series, as there are 30 questions in total. The questions being asked are as follows:
1. What is the meaning of life, according to you?
2. How do you define success and happiness?
3. Is there an objective moral truth, or is morality subjective?
4. Do you believe in free will, determinism, or a combination of both?
INTJ is one of the sixteen personality types identified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). It stands for Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging. Individuals with the INTJ personality type are often referred to as "Architects" or "Masterminds" due to their analytical and strategic thinking skills. They possess a unique blend of intellectual prowess, independence, and determination.
Introversion is a primary characteristic of INTJs, which means they draw energy from their internal world. They tend to be reflective and introspective, preferring solitude and quiet environments to recharge their mental energy. While they may appear reserved or aloof to others, INTJs possess a rich inner world where they engage in deep contemplation and analysis.
Intuition is the primary way INTJs perceive the world. They focus on patterns, connections, and underlying meanings rather than relying solely on concrete, observable facts. This allows them to see the big picture and anticipate future possibilities. INTJs are often known for their long-term vision and ability to devise innovative solutions to complex problems.
Thinking is the dominant decision-making function for INTJs. They value objective analysis and logical reasoning over emotional considerations. INTJs are highly rational, and they strive to make decisions based on facts and evidence rather than personal biases. They excel at critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
The Judging aspect of INTJs refers to their preference for structure, organization, and planning. They have a natural inclination towards orderliness and like to have a clear framework in which to operate. INTJs enjoy setting goals, developing strategies, and executing plans with precision. They are often driven by a strong desire for efficiency and effectiveness.
INTJs are known for their intellectual prowess and thirst for knowledge. They are lifelong learners who enjoy delving into complex subjects and acquiring expertise in their areas of interest. They have a keen ability to grasp abstract concepts and synthesize information, which makes them adept at analyzing intricate systems and formulating innovative ideas.
While INTJs possess many strengths, they can also exhibit some challenges. Their preference for solitude and introspection can sometimes lead to a lack of social skills or difficulty in expressing emotions. They may come across as aloof or overly critical, which can strain interpersonal relationships. Additionally, their high standards and perfectionistic tendencies may cause them to be overly self-critical or demanding of others.
