Everyone Who Watches YouTube, Turn This Off
You should immediately restrict access to anyone who wants to tag or mention you in their comments or videos on YouTube. It’s not a good thing when someone does something bad and mentions you in a video without your knowledge. I believe people should ask for permission first rather than doing it and asking later.
I suggest that every one of you finds this setting and disables it on your YouTube account right now. It doesn't matter if you are a blogger or just a viewer.
How to do it:
Open the YouTube app.
Tap on your Account icon (bottom right).
Tap the Settings gear (top right corner).
Scroll down and select Privacy.
At the very bottom, find the setting "Allow others to mention my channel" (or "Mentions").
Turn this setting off.
Now, other users will not be able to mention you without your knowledge at all. Happy to help!
