The JLPT Test is a series of tests to gauge Japanese language ability and understanding. There are various levels of difficulty starting with JLPT N5 and going right through to JLPT N1. The test is held twice a year, once in June and once in December. It is available worldwide and is useful to measure your own Japanese ability as well as being a recognised qualification for any employment that requires the use of Japanese.
This video is part of my JLPT Quest series, where I will document and discuss each step in my journey to taking the JLPT tests. I will cover everything from registering and taking the test, materials and study techniques and actually getting the results. My name is Dan and I live in Japan. Smash the two words together and you end up with JaDan. I started the JaDan - Dan in Japan channel when I moved to Japan in 2016. I am a 30 something Yorkshire lad who was born and raised in Sheffield, which is deep in the heart of the UK. I moved to Japan in April 2016 to pursue a new career teaching English in a far off land.
