Let's start sewing the barrel dress. In this part, we process the darts (chest and shoulder), and also make a slit in the middle seam. I show in great detail the entire process of processing the vent in the middle seam: how to determine the length of the vent, cut out the allowance for the vent, duplicate, in which direction the vent faces, how to make a fastening to secure the vent. I also offer several options for hemming the bottom: on a regular straight-stitch machine, and, as in our case, on a flat-stitch machine.
