Lovely Texture for a Dual-Use Product
The older I get, the more I appreciate cream-to-powder shadow products. PUR’s On Point Tint Creamy Eyeshadow & Primer with Peptides has a soft creamy texture that blends easily with either your fingers or a brush. Since I have mature lids, I prefer to use a brush to ensure even coverage, and I enjoyed this product on its own as a very light wash of Champagne gold and as a base under a metallic shadow.
A little goes a long way with this product, so I suggest applying a few dots to your lid and blending it out. I applied a second layer without pilling and was impressed that the shade “Cashmere” brightens my lid without making it look sparkly. I also felt this needed a tiny bit of setting powder to keep it from traveling up into the crease. If your lids are oily, you may want to apply a different primer underneath to keep this from traveling upwards.
Closing Thoughts: If you like subtle shades and are looking for something that doesn’t dry out your lids during the day, give this a try. It looks beautiful on my 57-year-old lids without being sparkly or glittery. Very nice. 5 stars.
