How to setup Netgear EX6400 AC1900 Extender | MYWIFIEXT. NET | 100% Working Guide
To setup Netgear Ex6400 wifi extender AC1900 first unplug it in the same room as the router. Also before we start ex6400 setup make sure you have working router at home. So there are two ways to set it up first is via browser (mywifiext.net) and second is via wps. So lets check both the methods one by one.

EX6400 AC1900 WPS SETUP
1. For this you simply need to locate the wps button on the router.
2. Next press it once.
3. Now you will need to press the wps button present on ex6400 extender. You can find it on the side of the extender.
4. Now you will the lights will start blinking on both the extender and the router.
5. Next within 30 seconds you will see the wps and internet led on the extender will get solid. This confirms the successful configuration of ex6400 ext.
6. In case it is not connected then it could be possible that wps is disabled on the router. so kindly enable it once.
7. Also you can try to reset the extender once and try its setup again.
EX6400 BROWSER SETUP
1. For this too make sure the ext is plugged in the same room as the router.
2. In case you have already tried its setup then we recommend you to reset the ext once.
3. So grab a phone or computer or mac and then go to their wifi settings.
4. Now in the wifi list you will see NETGEAR_EXT network name. So simply tap on that network to connect to it.
5. Once connected open a browser on the same device.
6. Next open any browser like chrome, firefox or safari and into the url or address bar type mywifiext.net or 192.168.1.250 and hit enter.
7. In case you can't access mywifiext.net then watch video on how to resolve it.
8. Now on the setup page select wifi extender mode.
9. Followed by selecting the 2.4ghz and 5ghz network of your router and also typing their password.
10. Lastly hit save settings to complete the setup.
