One of a Kind: Sigma 85mm f/1.2 for Sony E-Mount – My Honest Review!
The brand-new Sigma 85mm f/1.2 is here – and it's the first 85mm f/1.2 lens with autofocus for the Sony E-mount and L-mount! I was able to extensively test the lens for several weeks beforehand, using it for portraits, fashion shoots, concerts, and in Mallorca.
In this detailed review, I'll show you what the Sigma 85mm f/1.2 Art can really do in practice.
How does it perform wide open at f/1.2? How good is the sharpness? What's the bokeh like? How reliable is the autofocus? And how does the lens handle backlighting, low light, and video?
I tested the Sigma 85mm f/1.2 on the Sony A7R VI with 67 megapixels, among other cameras, paying particular attention to image quality, autofocus, and practical usability.
