This material is being released today, June 24th, for a reason. Exactly three years ago, on this very day in 2023, I, then still an active police major, was on "unscheduled" duty and literally spent the night at the Moscow Internal Security Directorate.
My state during those days could be described as unusual, to say the least. According to reports, a 25,000-strong army, armed with tanks and heavy military equipment, was advancing on Moscow without encountering any resistance. The events of those days are forever etched in my memory.
