This upgrade is only compatible with 32-bit motherboards such as 4.2.2 or 4.2.7. The 8-bit mainboards like 1.1.4 and 1.1.5 are unfortunately not compatible.
After installation, a firmware update is required to use the touchscreen.

Uninstall the current screen, replace with the new screen, replace cable, and download the creality firmware (check your motherboard - only works with 32bit boards) format a micro SD and copy the firmware ".bin" file directly to the sd card.
with the printer switched off insert the SD then switch on the 3d printer. Wait for the printer "bar" on the screen to finish uploading. Then switch of the printer, remove the SD card and switch on. you should be done!!
