Creating a Cow Sculpture - The Beginning
The early stages of building the life-size cow armature using a welded steel frame sheathed by fire-retardant wood. It will eventually be covered with plastic toys of every description which will hide the wooden armature completely.
It is a commission from The Lucile Packard Children's Hospital on the campus of Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA by artist Donald Gialanella.
