Adobe Illustrator Tutorial Isometric Grid Swatch Pattern
Make an Isometric Grid Swatch Pattern in this Adobe Illustrator Tutorial.
➡️ Start out by making a 100px Hexagon and rotate it 90 degrees. You want a point at the very top and very bottom.
➡️ Set both the Fill and Stroke colors to None, or else the pattern won’t work.
➡️ In the Menubar, select Object - Pattern - Make, this will open our Pattern Options.
➡️ Go back to your Swatches Panel and give the stroke any color you want. At this point you can increase the stroke weight, but I personally recommend leaving it set to 1pt.
➡️ Now go to the Pattern Options panel and select the Height and divide it by 2. This will create our isometric grid overlap.
➡️ Go up and choose Done.
You now have an Isometric Grid Swatch Pattern to use for your next graphic design project.
