MBAH MIN'S CHICKEN OPOR
The journey from Yogyakarta to this place is quite long, passing through Wonosari and then on to Pracimantoro, along a very scenic road. The road is winding and seems to have limited street lighting at night. It's located after the Karst Museum.

Mbah Min's chicken opor, or as the stall banner says, "Warung Makan Mbah Min" is located at the Pracimantoro Wonogiri Animal Market. It's only open on Pon and Wage days, and is managed by Mbah Min himself. Although it's only open on Pon and Wage days, a minimum of 100 chickens are sold out. Its opening hours are:
Pon from 3:30 PM - sold out
Wage from 6:30 AM - sold out
So, aside from the market, Mbah Min doesn't open, but his children and grandchildren have opened similar stalls elsewhere with the same recipe.

Menu options include: Chicken Opor, Fried Chicken, Fried Chicken Opor, Beef, Beef Offal. Each order costs Rp 35,000, and includes rice, vegetables, and a drink. Protein alone costs Rp 25,000 per plate.

Connoisseurs come not only from Wonogiri, but also from outside the city, even from Yogyakarta, which is approximately 1.5 hours away.
