In this video, you will learn about Google Search Console Robots.txt Report

The Robots.txt Report is a new report added in Google Search Console. Earlier, there was a feature of robots tester only.
Robots.txt file is for Google's crawlers or robots.
When Google crawlers come to crawl your website the first thing they will visit is your website's robots.txt file. Even before visiting your site's homepage or any other page.

In Robots.txt file we define that which pages of our website we want to crawl and which are the pages that we don't want to crawl.

Crawling and Indexing are two separate processes. Don't get confused between these two terms. Take a look at the Indexing Report video link below.

When you open the report you will mostly find the website's www version, non www version, HTTP version, and HTTPS version shown as fetched.
You will see all the version files of your website when you have accessed the domain property of your website.
If you access the URL property of your website, then you will only see 1 version file of robots.txt
