Arizona State's Hannah Scharf has earned the Pac-12 Gymnastics Coaches Choice of the Week award, presented by Pacific Premier Bank, for March 7. She collects the honor for the second consecutive week after leading the Sun Devils to an upset win over then-No. 11 Oregon State (197.725-197.550), handing the Beavers their first loss in Pac-12 competition. The team total was ASU’s highest this year and ninth-highest all-time. Scharf finished second in the all-around with a 39.625, the 15th-best all-around score in ASU history and her third meet in a row hitting at least that mark. Scharft tied for first on the floor after matching her career-high with a 9.950, her fifth straight 9.9-plus on floor, and helped the Sun Devils to their ninth-highest floor score all-time (49.575). She notched a season-high 9.900 to tie for first in vault.
