People, today I'm on Sakhalin. It's the most alluring and fascinating island in Russia, located in the Far East. Life here feels like it's on the other side of the planet. Everything about Sakhalin is unusual – from the price of a kiwi to vacations – people here last 44 days. There are also many buildings left from the Japanese era, because there was a time when part of the island was not called Sakhalin, but Karafuto, and belonged to Japan.
