Creating A Riso Compositor In Blender: Transforming RGB To CMYK or CMY
A quick demo of a Blender node set up that allows you to convert an RGB image into a CMYK riso preview and test out different two, three or four spot color passes with different combinations of colors! The possibilities are endless with this setup designed specifically for Riso printmaking! I talk about exposing the negatives for the thermal screen prints or 'Masters' and calibrating the Riso ink to the value of the Masters( It's not a true RGB to CMYK conversion but a close enough approximation for spot color conversion). Riso color mixing is interesting because it allows you to swap spot colors for each of the CMYK passes. The .blend file can be found on my gumroad: https://dioncelebrado.gumroad.com/l/r...
