Something Wicked - Animated Trailer

i just like to animate things. got it? good. lets continue.
I started talking about this a few weeks back on tumblr, but I’m happy to tell you guys I’m working on Something Wicked, a story written by my buddy jessepinwheel about 3 people (well, ostensibly people) on a quest to kill the witch that cursed them.
Hijinks ensue.
Isla is cursed so that she forgets everything she knows after a year. Lucian sold her soul and became an awful rock gremlin who doesn’t eat, sleep, or feel anything (except sadness). Solanus is a dumb kid who got her soul stuck in a lantern. She has failed to learn anything from this. Together they start a rock collection and punch some demons. There’s lots of magic, emotions, and knives to be had in this world, so if you’re into that, you’ll like what we have in store!
the story is mostly going to be told via text. Jesse (jessepinwheel on tumblr), Sphor (sphor-art) Myself (the-royal-sketchbook), and Nya (kawaii-sparkle-draws) will be releasing supplemental art, but be prepared to do some reading (good reading, mind you, but reading nonetheless). I’ll try to post various types of content related to Something Wicked here, mostly speedpaints and the like, but if you want to always be up to speed, you can follow the series here:
