High performance windows vs energy efficient windows; what's the difference?
High performance windows really do a great job at competing with the energy efficiency of the wall; where-as your run of the mill "energy efficient" window falls short of physically competing with the walls energy efficiency and noise reduction. Energy efficient is a genral term used way too often and doesn't mean much without getting and knowing how to compare specific ratings.
