ICICI Bank's Credit Card "EMI with DOWN PAYMENT" on Amazon India

In this video we will learn about EMI with Down Payment facility offered by Amazon India on ICICI Bank Credit Card.
Things you should know about this facility are as follows:
1. You need to pay 25% of the product price as down payment. Remaining 75% of the product price will be converted into EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) of 3/6/9/12/18/24 months.
2. Your credit card issuing bank may provide you with the facility of NO COST EMI if you opt for longer duration EMI tenure i.e. of 9/12/18/24 months.
3. The main benefit of EMI with down payment facility is that it lowers your overall EMI and allows you to save on interest cost on standard EMI plan.
4. While uploading this video down payment option is only available on mobile/tablet devices. However Amazon may soon start displaying this option on desktop/laptop browser as well.
5. For Standard EMI or EMI with Down payment facility, your bank may charge you certain processing fee.
6. You have to pay additional interest to your bank for availing the facility of standard EMI or EMI with down payment.
7. Both Down Payment amount and the amount that will be converted into EMI will get immediately locked from your credit card's overall limit. When your next credit card statement/bill is generated and you pay your dues, the down payment amount will get unlocked and your credit card limit will be increased.
Similarly as you go on paying your monthly installments, an amount equal to your EMI amount will get unlocked from your credit card's overall limit.
8. While uploading this video, Down Payment option is available only for selected products and on select credit cards (Visa/MasterCard).
