Translation of the FAQ:
Why did you create it?
AI Test Kitchen is a place where people can learn about and provide feedback on some of Google's latest AI technologies. Our goal is to responsibly learn, improve and innovate together in AI. Everything is a work in progress and intended for rapid return. Consistent with our AI principles, we believe that responsible progress does not happen in isolation. We need to give people the opportunity to experience technology firsthand so that we can learn and improve it.
How it works?
Users in our launch countries can try our 3 tools: ImageFX, MusicFX and TextFX.
With these tools, you can use text to turn an idea into images, music, and text. When you use these tools, you will learn about generative AI technology. Keep in mind that this technology comes with its own challenges, as responses may be inaccurate or inappropriate. We have added several layers of protection to minimize these risks, but we have not eliminated them.
How did you create it?
To learn more about the technology that powers each tool, click the information icon on the tool pages.
Where is it available?
Our tools are currently available to users in the following countries and regions: United States, Kenya, New Zealand, and Australia.
What languages does AI Test Kitchen support?
Our tools are currently only available in English.
What data is collected? How is this used?
When you interact with the Tools, Google collects your conversations, Tool results, product usage information, and feedback. This data is stored in a way that is not linked to your Google account. Google uses this data to provide, improve and develop Google products and services as well as machine learning technologies, including Google enterprise products such as Google Cloud. For example, we use your feedback to increase the effectiveness of our model's security policies and help minimize bias in our models more generally. Please do not include any personal information about yourself or others in your interactions.
Can I delete my data?
You will be able to delete your data when you use a particular tool, but once you close the tool, your data will be stored in such a way that Google will not be able to know who provided it and will not be able to respond to any deletion requests. Your interactions are stored for up to 18 months.
Is this data linked to my Google account?
No. Your data is stored in a way that is not linked to your Google account.
Who has access to my data?
Human reviewers will be able to read, annotate, and process your conversations, interactions, and AI Test Kitchen tool output.
What should I do if I want content to be removed from AI Test Kitchen?
You may request removal of content in accordance with our policies or applicable laws.
How can I share feedback?
You can give your feedback by clicking the flag icon or thumbs up and down to improve AI Test Kitchen.
Why is there a quota limit?
So that everyone can test our tools, each user is limited to a certain number of daily generations. If you've reached your limit, try another tool or come back the next day.
What are AI Test Kitchen's content policies?
We want the AI Test Kitchen experience to be safe, fun, and educational. Therefore, we prohibit users from knowingly generating certain categories of content.
MusicFX has precautions to protect artist voices and styles so that some queries mentioning specific artists or including voices are not generated.
ImageFX has precautions to protect minors so that certain requests that could lead to child exits are not generated.
As AI Test Kitchen evolves, this policy may change with limited notice so that we can maintain a safe user experience. If we believe that repeated policy violations have occurred, this may result in account suspension.
