5 Largest Sea Turtles In The World
What is the largest sea turtle in the world? In this video i will be answering this question and many more as I will be going through the 5 largest sea turtles in the world. Our oceans are home to many different iconic reptiles but few are more iconic than our sea turtles. Unfortunately most our the worlds sea turtle species are vulnerable to extinction or endangered. Most of the reasons for the sea turtles peril are human related but there are many conservation efforts to help save these turtles are hopefully we will see more in the future.

Our first sea turtle is the olive ridley sea turtle. The olive ridley sea turtle is the most abundant of all the sea turtles but they are still listed as vulnerable to extinction.
Our second large sea turtle is the hawksbill sea turtle. The hawksbill sea turtle is one of the easiest turtles to identify and they have a pointed bill.
Our third large sea turtle is the green sea turtle. The green turtle is unique among sea turtles as it's mostly herbivorous feeding on sea grass and algae.
The second largest sea turtle in the world is the loggerhead sea turtle. The loggerhead sea turtle has a large muscular head and jaws.
The largest sea turtle in the world is the leatherback sea turtle. The leatherback is probably one of the most iconic sea turtles and is the last remaining member of it's family.
