I've seen a few deck projects on YouTube that utilize TUFFBLOCK foundation blocks... I think they're cool but they're certainly not cheap. Some deck designs only use a few support blocks, but for a low profile deck like this with 2x4 joists it would have taken 80 blocks and that would have been EXPENSIVE. After doing a little research I found these lighter duty adjustable foundation blocks on amazon that seem like the perfect, affordable solution. They're not as heavy duty, but with so many individual blocks underneath this deck, each eight foot 2x4 joist has 3 support blocks underneath leaving nothing unsupported Let me know what you think down in the comments and big thanks as always for watching!!
