Learn Logic Pro with my 50+ hour Complete Logic Pro course: https://www.udemy.com/course/thecompl...
A new Logic Pro update is scheduled for January 28, and a lot of people are already referring to it as “Logic Pro 12”.
In this video, I wanted to give some calm, clear context about what this update actually means, especially if you’re learning Logic Pro or enrolled in one of my Logic Pro courses.
Update: I’ve since released a newer video that explains the main Logic Pro 12 features in detail, including Chord ID and the new Synth Session Players.
You can watch that here:
• Logic Pro 12 Just Got Way Smarter
I talk through the main new features that have been announced so far, including the new Synth Session Player and the new chord-based tools, as well as Apple’s new optional Creator Studio subscription and how the pricing works.
Most importantly, I explain what hasn’t changed. This is an update to Logic Pro, not a complete redesign. The core workflow stays the same, and you can still make great music and follow along with courses in older versions of Logic Pro without any problems.
At the time of recording, I haven’t used the new version yet. Everything shared in this video is based on Apple’s official article and currently available information.
Once the update is released and I’ve had time to properly test it, I’ll follow up with more detailed videos, and I’ll add the main updates and follow up videos to my complete Logic Pro course so it stays current and easy to follow.
You can find Apple’s official article linked below if you want to read the full details directly from the source.
