I moved my entire business website off Webflow and rebuilt it as a fully AI-coded site using Codex and Claude Code, and it's live right now on nocode.mba.

This isn't a demo. In this video I walk through every step of the migration so you can do the same: exporting your Webflow content, moving your CMS to Sanity, rebuilding the site in Next.js, keeping your SEO intact, and deploying it live on Vercel.

New to these tools? Start here:

→ Claude Code vs Codex:    • Codex vs Claude Code: which is better and ...

The biggest surprise wasn't the cost savings. It was the speed. Pages load almost instantly, my email signups jumped, and I can now edit and manage the whole site straight from Codex. Here's exactly how I did it, plus the honest take on what got tricky.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
THE STACK I USED:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🤖 Codex — the main agent I used to build and migrate everything
🎨 Claude Code — I still find Claude better for design work
⚡ Next.js — the framework the new site is built in
🗂️ Sanity — the new headless CMS that stores all my content
🚀 Vercel — where the site is deployed and hosted
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
THE MIGRATION, STEP BY STEP:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
1️⃣ OPEN CODEX & START A PROJECT
Create a new folder/project in Codex — this is your workspace for the whole build.
2️⃣ CRAWL YOUR OLD SITE
Have Codex build a crawler to pull your internal URLs, titles, meta descriptions, H1s, canonicals, and images. This is your SEO source of truth — skip it and you'll regret it later.
3️⃣ CONNECT YOUR WEBFLOW CMS
Add a read-access API key (Apps & Integrations in Webflow) to a .env file so Codex can read everything from your CMS.
4️⃣ SET UP SANITY
Create a Sanity account, add the API key, and have the agent generate schemas for your collections (articles, courses, lessons, etc.).
5️⃣ RUN THE MIGRATION
Ask Codex to build a migration pipeline. Mine moved 1,621 documents across 15 collections into Sanity.
6️⃣ SCAFFOLD THE SITE
Prompt Codex to build the custom site in Next.js — then use the @browser hack to match your old design pixel-for-pixel, and ask it to create a style guide so styles stay consistent.
7️⃣ BUILD & REFINE THE DESIGN
This takes some back-and-forth. I used Claude Code for the design polish since the Claude models are stronger there.
8️⃣ SEO PREP & CUTOVER
The most important part. URL parity auditing, permanent redirects, a dynamic sitemap, robots support, structured data — all so your rankings don't break when you switch.
9️⃣ DEPLOY WITH VERCEL
Connect GitHub → Vercel, point your domain's DNS, and you're live. For me the switch was basically instant.
🔟 CLEANUP IN SANITY
The honest take: the full Sanity migration took longer than expected (HTML embeds in articles needed fixing). Budget extra time here.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
💡 The speed gain is the real win — pages load almost instantly vs Webflow
💡 Do the crawl + SEO prep FIRST — it's what protects your Google rankings
💡 Cost is a wash: roughly the same as Webflow, or free if your traffic is low
💡 Anytime you're unsure, just ask Codex — it knows your whole project
💡 It took me a few days of work — worth it if you want full control of your site
