Getting Technical: Building & Testing NLU
Join fellow conversation designers, developers, product managers, and decisions makers for an expert panel discussion about the foundational conversational technology natural language understanding (NLU). We’ll explore how NLU models are researched, collaborated on across teams, implemented, and tested and maintained throughout the lifecycle of a conversational app. Attendees can submit questions before the event and ask questions during the panel discussion.

Christoph Börner, CEO and Founder at Botium
Christoph is a multiple entrepreneur, developer, tester, keynote speaker and drummer. He studied information technology at the Technical University of Vienna and worked in various fields of software engineering. He is an active member and organizer in the Austrian testing community. He has had a deep interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning and bots from day one—long before these topics were considered to be the next big thing after the smartphone. He is Co-founder of Botium, a chatbot testing platform. Today they count more than 140k users and can be considered as the first choice for testing conversational AI.

Raagini makes machines talk for a living. After getting a double major in linguistics and communication studies at grad school, she decided to enter the world of AI and IoT. She has been working on enterprise AI solutions as a conversation designer and analytical linguist. She’s currently working for a Fortune 100 aerospace and technology company, leading the conversational AI pillar in their digital transformation plan.
