Welcome to my beginner guitar lessons on how to master up strums on the guitar. The upstroke on a guitar can be tricky for some students to master. A lot of this comes from tension on the hand. I’m going to show you how to work on your guitar strumming upstroke to make is easier to play and more relaxed so that you don’t feel like your strumming patterns are sharp and jerky.
