Mikrokopter Hexa XL Video Test Flight
This is the video from the first test flight with our video system on board. Our craft is a Mikrokopter Hexa XL with a Foxtech 5.8 Ghz, 200 mW video transmitter and a Spektrum DX8 Tx and a AR8000 Rx with the satellite connected to the Flight control and the standard receiver wired for telemetry. This video is the video taken directly off our GoPro Hero 960. No editing was done to the video.
This was a test to simply check the function of our servos and video system.
The whining in the video is from the servos for our pan and tilt. They seem to have some loading issues.
At 1:45 is when GPS hold was initiated, we are unsure of the reason for the erratic flight. GPS checked out OK afterwards.
