Osprey Eats Baby Leopard Shark (California)
I was photographing gulls perched on the bluffs. Then I saw the osprey eating fish. But when I saw the fish's tail and spots, I realized it was a small leopard shark. Leopard sharks are harmless to humans, unless you're eating one and it has accumulated toxic levels of mercury from the ocean floor.
