Smash Speculation May Soon End... And I'm OK With That - Billybae10K
At Nintendo's E3 Direct tomorrow, we might be seeing the last two DLC fighters for Smash Ultimate (At the very least, one of them), and assuming there's no third fighter's pass, speculation will soon come to an end for this title.
And from my perspective, letting the rollercoaster finally stop is what a lot of Smash fans don't realize they need. Speculation has taken its toll on various members of the community over the years, I've watched some people, myself included, grow jaded with the fanbase because the level of intensity and toxicity is seemingly heightened when characters are involved.
It's been a good three years, let's give other games the limelight, but let's not forget what Ultimate has done for video games & what it has achieved. And yes, if it ends, I never have to hear about RTC's again, pray for me.
