The objective of the South Africa-Swiss Bilateral Research Chair in Blockchain Technology is to explore advantages and barriers for integrating blockchain technology in supply chain management. Two different focus areas of implementation are envisioned within the import/export of goods in South Africa and Switzerland, namely the agri-food and drugs/medical devices supply chains
We aim to propagate the gospel of blockchain while building real world solutions in Agri-Food.
We organise Bootcamps twice a year focused at increasing capacity building in the real-world application of blockchain.
We hold media events involving blockchain enthusiasts, industry experts, researchers, and thought leaders with a core focus on exploring the vast potential of blockchain technology.
