In this video, we take you behind the scenes at WayKen to show how we use blue light 3D scanning technology to ensure precision in complex reflector components for headlamp manufacturing.Using a complete 3D CAD model provided by the customer, we performed a full-surface scan of the machined part from multiple angles, capturing intricate details such as freeform surfaces, fine optical teeth, and mirror zones. The data was converted into a high-density mesh and compared with the original CAD to generate a color deviation map.
