Multiplayer games on Stadia are great, and they come with some cool features like player equality (same setup for everyone), stable connections (inside the datacenter) and cheat protection (hard to cheat on a video stream). Google is pushing developers to add cross-play to their games, but basically that nullifies all the above benefits. I love cross-play, but is it the right choice? Is there another way?
