Night Meets Light - (a Dixie Dregs Cover)
This is a home-grown remake/cover of a Dixie Dregs song, from their What If album, called Night Meets Light.
My friend Mike played all the guitar parts. I played the other parts (violin, keys, bass, drums) using my keyboards/Midi. This is a melody-driven song that is quite challenging to play, as there are many meter changes throughout the song. It is one of our favorite songs, and we hope you enjoy our version. We also used this adventure to get better at the whole music production process, and we both learned a LOT doing this. We did the tracking in Sonar, and the mixing and mastering was done with Pro Tools.
