SUS (Unified Health System) a look at everyone, palliative care, giving new meaning to life.

We will take a deep dive into the world of care in the Brazilian healthcare system, one of the best and most complete, which serves as a model for the world.
Starting in the 90s, based on three pillars: UNIVERSALITY (health is a right of citizenship) EQUITY (aims to reduce inequalities) INTEGRALITY (views and cares for the person as a WHOLE, seeking to meet all their needs). It was strengthened by forming partnerships with private entities, and respecting the basic principles of citizenship, guaranteeing Brazilians a dignified entry into the health system, with adequate and effective treatment; humanized, welcoming service free from any discrimination; respect for each person’s individual values and rights; responsibility and ethics in service; in addition to the commitment of health managers so that these principles are effective and faithfully fulfilled, one of their strengths. Another strong point of the SUS is SUPPLEMENTARY HEALTH, which for those who don't know, is the set of actions and services developed by operators of private health care plans and insurance, supervised by the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS). Health plans provide supplementary health care, so that citizens do not lose their right to be served by the SUS when they have private plan coverage. The main objective of supplementary health in the SUS is to help guarantee the population's access to health insurance and hospital care.
In the current model, the focus is on treating already established diseases, whether to cure or improve symptoms.
It is gaining more and more;
strength and prominence, when it treats citizens with equality and respect.

For us Brazilians, the SUS goes far beyond a mere healthcare system, it is a guarantee that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has access to quality care.
It is the network that supports us when we need it most, in times of pain caused by illnesses, whether physical, mental or even spiritual.
The SUS is before us, and within our reach, including specialties, integrative medical assistance, donations of medicines, for continuous use, and integrative therapy practices and assistance to the FAMILY.
Within the SUS, supplementary health is like the “special seasoning” that transforms care into a complete experience. It is a certainty that each individual receives essential attention to their needs.
Still valuing life, we enter the strongest point of the SUS - we have PALLIATIVE CARE, which is more than simple medical assistance; It's a warm hug in the midst of the storm. They are smiles, love, affection and support, transforming each moment into a valuable gift, valuing life with every beat of our heart." We have in palliative care the light that shines, even in the darkest hours, which provides comfort, dignity and peace , not just for patients, but for their families.
It's real proof that even at the end of the journey, there is beauty and hope."
So, now that you know that you can count on a healthcare system, which is an example in the world, don't waste time, register, use it, make use of it, seek information, be interested, take care of yourself, to better care for others, and together we will strengthen our health system, which was created for everyone, it is Brazilian, it is ours!
