Safely locked away in the Vault in the Minerals Gallery is an oval amethyst like no other.
Usually said to bring calm and clarity, this amethyst is cursed! Its previous owner, Edward Heron-Allen claimed the gem was "stained with blood and dishonour". 😲🩸
