Flava D - Against The Clock
Against the Clock is a series on FACT where we give an artist 10 minutes in the studio and see what they come up with.
Flava D releases anthems like it's nothing. She's part of the Butterz crew, who released her debut 12" 'Hold On', but her excursions on other labels have proven just as fruitful, releasing 'PS' (a collaboration with DJ Q) and 'In the Dance' on Local Action and Formula respectively. She also regularly releases Bandcamp mixtapes that are better than most artists' albums, and has produced songs for Wiley, Fekky and more.
Flava took the Against the Clock challenge at Red Bull Studios, camped out there for a month with the rest of Butterz' key artists. She claims she spent too long on the drums, but just LISTEN to those things.
