My BIM Journey with Revit – Structural Modelling (Foundation, Column & Beam)
This video presents the tenth part of my Building Information Modeling (BIM) practical project using Autodesk Revit.
The focus of this exercise is structural modelling, including the placement of foundations, columns, and beams within the building model.
The process includes:
Placing isolated pad footings at wall intersections
Adding vertical structural columns with defined base levels
Creating beams at multiple levels to form the structural framework
These steps help to enhance the structural coordination and overall integrity of the BIM model.
This project is part of my learning journey in architectural design and digital construction workflows.
