Conquests: The Kannauj Triangle
In the late 8th Century, the once-powerful Kingdom of Kannauj in Northern India was on the brink of collapse. After the death of king Vajrayudha in c. 784 CE, the situation reached boiling point, beginning a tripartite struggle by the other great powers of India for control of the kingdom.
