Dynamic Data Masking
SQL Server 2016 introduces a new security feature called Dynamic Data Masking (DDM). While not intended as a foolproof security measure like encryption, it can be considered a way to obfuscate or block information from users with fewer privileges. It can be easily implemented with masking restrictions.
