That's why we decided to take our time and avoid making mistakes. We've set out to solve the main issue, without which further expansion of our house is simply impossible. It's important for us to act strictly within the law, complying with all building codes and requirements, to avoid unpleasant consequences later.
The war once deprived us of our familiar life and our own home. Without receiving any certificates or compensation, we made the difficult decision to buy a small house with the funds we could raise ourselves. The house lacks the usual amenities, lacks proper utilities, and requires a tremendous amount of labor.
But it's now our home. Our little nest. And now, step by step, we're trying to transform it into a comfortable place for our family to live.
In this video, we'll show our visit to the authorities, talk about consultations, share our future plans for expanding the house, show us the work on the property, tending the garden, preparing the grounds, and the everyday life of a displaced family who never gives up and continues to move forward.
