Need for Speed Heat (PC) CPU usage fix? tweak to the "user" document seems to fix the simple issue of the game running at 90% load on the Cpu for no reason, after this tweak mine has dropped to around 40% which is more reasonable. Additional information about running the game on old GPU's .
Use NotePad and save as "User.cfg" replacing the file type with the ".cfg"
